Attended the program were the well-known experts who were also involved in training the participants.\u00a0The experts include: Wang Yancai, Vice Chairman of the World Alcohol Beverage Alliance and Honorary Chairman of China Alcohol Drinks Association; Chen Zeming, President of Guizhou (China) Alcohol Drinks Association; Ji Keliang, former Chairman of Moutai Group, Chief Expert of Guizhou Alcohol Drinks Association, master of baijiu, celebrated brewer and inheritor of national intangible cultural heritage; Zhang Zongjie, President of the Association for Liquor and Spirits Circulation of Xiamen City; Peng Yin, national-level liquor judge, senior engineer of Moutai-flavor (Jiang-flavor) baijiu, chief blender; as well as the\u00a0training leader Chen Lin and others. Guizhou (China) Alcohol Drinks Association issued the \u201cCertificate of Competency for Baijiu Appraiser Training\u201d to the participants who have achieved good performance after the program.<\/p>\n

The training was centered on industrial development and provided professional courses for the participants, covering topics like \u201cThe Culture of Moutai\u201d, \u201cIdentification of Moutai\u201d, \u201cBrewing Processes of Moutai-flavor Liquor\u201d, \u201cPractical Guidance and Exercises for the Identification of Aged Baijiu\u201d, \u201cOn the Collection, Selection and the Quality and Value of Baijiu, illustrated through products such as \u2018Luzhou Lao Jiao\u2019, \u2018Dong Jiu\u2019, \u2018Lang Jiu\u2019 and other liquors\u201d, \u201cOn the Twelve Flavor Types of Baijiu in China and Investment Trends\u201d, \u201cThe Making and Blending of Chinese Baijiu\u201d and other courses. The training allowed the participants to gain a thorough understanding of baijiu in a short time.<\/p>\n

\u5728\u57f9\u8bad\u8fc7\u7a0b\u4e2d\uff0c\u6388\u8bfe\u4e13\u5bb6\u4e0d\u4ec5\u5c06\u4e13\u4e1a\u77e5\u8bc6\u503e\u56ca\u76f8\u6388\uff0c\u8fd8\u62ff\u51fa\u73cd\u85cf\u7684\u8001\u9152\u548c\u5047\u9152\u8fdb\u884c\u5b9e\u7269\u5bf9\u6bd4\uff0c\u8ba9\u5b66\u5458\u4eec\u76f4\u89c2\u5730\u770b\u5230\u533a\u522b\u6240\u5728\u3002<\/p>\n

Amid the training, the experts were not only aiming to teach the participants knowledge, they also brought to the class the real aged baijiu collections and make comparisons to the \u201cfake ones (ones not aged enough or suitable for collecting)\u201d, so as to enable the students to see the differences themselves.<\/p>\n

\u4e3a\u4fbf\u4e8e\u5168\u56fd\u5404\u5730\u7231\u9152\u4eba\u58eb\u5b66\u4e60\u9152\u77e5\u8bc6\uff0c\u4ea4\u6d41\u9152\u6587\u5316\uff0c\u57f9\u8bad\u5148\u540e\u5728\u8d35\u9633\u3001\u9075\u4e49\u8305\u53f0\u9547\u3001\u53a6\u95e8\u7b49\u591a\u4e2a\u57ce\u5e02\u5f00\u529e\u3002\u5b66\u5458\u4eec\u901a\u8fc7\u7406\u8bba\u4e0e\u5b9e\u8df5\u5b66\u4e60\uff0c\u666e\u904d\u53cd\u6620\u53d7\u76ca\u532a\u6d45\u3002<\/p>\n

To encourage more wine lovers around the country to learn, exchange their knowledge culture of baijiu, the training program has been organized in places like Guiyang, Zunyi Moutai Town, Xiamen City and other cities. The training has received sound feedback from the participants after their study and practices.<\/p>\n

Frequent interactions and exchanges took place during the class, followed by discussions and sharing after the class. There is also a number of participants expecting more of such trainings, where they say they could learn from experts, and at the same time earn themselves certificates and qualifications, as well as exchange ideas and discuss with other participants, which they deemed as a very rewarding experience.<\/p>\n

Wang Yancai, Vice Chairman of WABA, said, WABA and Guizhou Alcohol Drinks Association are the service organizations for the wine industry, committed to using the comprehensive advantages of the aged baijiu as a profession to play the role of standard-setting, training and promotion, evaluation and validation, to promote more scientific researches in the industry, globalization of standards and development of the baijiu industry. Through a standardized setting, training and workforce construction, the goal is to train the participants into interdisciplinary talents who understand baijiu and its culture, a good judge of wine, and into talents who is well versed in the value of wine, in an attempt to contribute to a healthy development in the baijiu industry of China.
